"Wanna receive mail?" Go to INAIT'19

Tne International Conference on Industry 4.0 & Artificial Intelligence Technologies  could be legitimate, but the organization behind INAIT'19 is not obvious. The website INAIT-CONF.ORG is registered to namecheap.com. Cambridge University's Hughes Hall hosts rents rooms and caters events. Corgascience, "a scientific corporation which specializes in the organization and management of scientific events including congresses" is the go-between.

  1. What is the verdict on this one? I am getting skeptical.

    1. There are grounds for concern beyond those mentioned above. For example, the website displays the Thompson Reuters logo under "Publications" and the email speaks of publishing papers in "this Book." The "Book" is not described, except perhaps as the "Conference Proceedings" that "will be also submitted to Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI) ... for indexation."

  2. My paper was accepted but I am thinking of withdrawing it. I find it odd that I have to email them on a gmail account to get a discount coupon for the early bird registration. All the speakers are unknowns from around the world. I would appreciate some help here...Thanks for your help.

    1. Unfortunately, I have very little additional information. There are danger signs. For example, the website now has a highlighted notice that reads, in full: "Submission is still open! due to many requests from authors." Given that "You can send only an abstract if you don’t have time to complete your article before the deadline December 25, 2018," it is not obvious what "authors" are requesting.
If you do go, I would encourage you to report on your experience.

    2. Be happy that you withdrew. This conference was an absolute scam. I had my doubts and tried to confirm with some people on the board. They convinced me...now I am the stupid guy.
We made the best of it and self-organized a conference. At least the room was booked and there was food. Stay away from anything from this organizers!

  3. I was there too. It has been a total scam. I assume all confernces by Corgascience are fake conferences. I guess same goes for any confernce mentioned at www.wikicfp.com .
